P1 and P2 lessons impart the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing to learners, with the emphasis on the first three components. We help young learners to enjoy the language through visual stimulation, bodily movements and reading aloud while cultivating good learning habits in them. P3 and P4 students are required to acquire a wider vocabulary range through reading and appreciating specially selected texts, and to learn the taxonomy of comprehension. For composition, they will be taught the components of a narrative story and the essential techniques that make a story interesting.

P5 and P6 teaching will be more geared to preparing students for the PSLE by guiding them with a more analytical approach towards answering higher-order questions and evaluating oral and writing requirements.
